Ron Cohen

Ron came to the Upper Hood River Valley in 1973 by way of Detroit, Michigan and Yosemite National Park.  He has been active in Hood River, serving on numerous non- profit boards for over 40 years.  He is excited to be a part of the Fish Food Bank team. Ron said: "Fish is an extraordinary organization that has helped so many families in our community." Ron started out working at Lost Lake and as a wilderness ranger on Mt Hood and has been a tax accountant and business consultant.  He operates Muir Woods Tree Farm

Our Mission

The FISH Food Bank mission is to help alleviate hunger by distributing food regularly and on an emergency basis, regardless of gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation and in a friendly, instant, sympathetic, helpful, nonjudgmental and confidential manner.
